One of the major insurers in the equity indexed insurance marketplace, Midland National Life, has recently announced the addition of two new index account options.
The S & P 400 index and the Russell 2000 index are now available with Midalnd National Life's XL Life policy in most states. There are a few states that have not yet approved these index option accounts but soon they will be available on a nationwide basis. The addition of multiple index options provides more choice for the policy holder which in the long run should allow for more diversification of cash values among the index accounts. With Midland National Life introducing mulitple index account options, it is likely that we will see other companies working to address multiple index options. More to follow.
